Spaghetti Pie


6 oz. spaghetti

2 teaspoons butter

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 eggs, beaten

1 pound hamburger

about 30oz. tomato sauce or

1 – 15oz. tomato sauce plus

1 – 15oz. can stewed tomatoes, pureed

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain (should have 3 cups cooked spaghetti). Stir butter in hot spaghetti. Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs. Make a “crust” our of this in buttered 10” pie pan. Cook beef. Drain well. Stir in tomato mixture, heat through. Add meat mixture into crust. Bake, uncovered, in 350° oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on. Bake 5 minutes longer, until cheese melts.


Mic – Tip

– To make it quicker, you may use prepared spaghetti sauce, and add some green peppers and onions to add more flavor!
